The next evolution of Freefly heavy-lift aircraft is here! The Alta X Gen2 combines the rugged, heavy-lift performance of the Alta X airframe with the cutting-edge flight controller, smart payload interfaces, and seamless workflow integration of Astro Max.

• Next-Gen Autonomy & Control - Powered by the same custom Skynode in Astro Max for enhanced GPS resilience, precise navigation, and intelligent failsafes.
• 35 lb Payload Capacity - Carry large cinema rigs, advanced sensors, or multiple payloads with stability and precision.
• Smart Dovetail Payload Interface - Quick-connect options for Freefly and a growing field of third-party payloads, with expanded communication and power pathways.

• NDAA Compliant Hardware - This version of Alta X Gen 2 (NDAA) uses Doodle Labs hardware for robust and compliant remote control.

• Expanded Connectivity and Integration - Leverage the internal payload bay to add custom integrations with onboard Ethernet, regulated payload power, and onboard LTE for remote connectivity.

Does not include

For maximum versatility for a variety of operators, Alta X Gen2 does not include batteries/chargers. We recommend:

• At least one dual channel charger* plus six Alta X Gen2 batteries*, per aircraft. If you cannot charge in the field and need to operate more than three flights, add one pair of batteries per flight hop planned. Each charger can charge two batteries at a time, and adding additional chargers will speed up your overall charting throughput.
